The sound is absolutely magical. I love this DAC.

The MK2 is a little juicier versus the MK1, the soundstage is deeper, more layered. Weiss DACS always sound pure, rich and refined, and they allow you to hear that every little detail. With the 204-MK2 the sound is still about precision but I’m hearing a little more connection, more immersion.

This little $4,000 DAC is pretty impressive. It gets really close to my favourite DAC which is super-expensive. DAC204-MK2 is a no-nonsense, gimmick free box making magic from my digital music. The Weiss sounds really, really good.
