The microprocessor choice is certainly crucial, but the way it is used and implemented as part of the circuit is even more important.

What Jadis manages to do admirably is to give recorded music that palpable and present sound that makes all the difference. As a result a simple voice materializes with outstanding magic, perfectly placed in space and above all with an exceptional realism and presence.

The JS5 brings us to the show by its ability to place elements within a precise structure, large and airy. Listening to an Opera, big Symphony or a concert is an exquisite event.

The JS5 separate power supply delivers clean power without contaminating the delicate audio signal. We all know that the power supply is of central importance. With its multiple sections and its unique design with tube regulation, this DAC seems to boost the signal to an unprecedented level. But, it in no way distorts the reality: it simply offers it the best way to express itself, so that the musical flow is as coherent and free as possible.

The JS5 is the worthy heir of several DAC generations and is by far the most advanced and neutral. Warmly recommended!
