Buffalo, NY — October 1, 2026 — Bluebird Music today announced the immediate availability of Peak Consult’s new Sinfonia 1.1 and El Diablo 1.1 loudspeakers in the United States and Canada.
Updated for 2026, both models incorporate key technologies first developed for the flagship Dragon Legacy, including new proprietary drive units, next-generation crossover networks, refined port tuning, and updated exterior details.
Together, these improvements elevate performance while preserving the natural musical character that defines Peak Consult.
Under the direction of Dynaudio co-founder and Peak Consult co-owner Wilfried Ehrenholz, the updates advance the company’s central goal: reproducing the tone, texture, scale, and physical presence of music with natural, convincing realism.
New Drivers, Improved Integration, and More Articulate Bass
Developed in collaboration with a leading Scandinavian transducer specialist, the new proprietary drive units deliver lower distortion, faster transient response, and improved linearity. These advancements increase resolution and clarity, revealing subtle musical details with greater accuracy of tone, texture, and expression.
Both models feature new crossover networks derived from Peak Consult’s latest design platform. By enhancing phase accuracy and smoothing driver integration, the updated crossovers provide greater coherence, realism, and spatial precision. Voices and instruments gain improved focus, dimensionality, and a more convincing sense of the recorded acoustic.
Refinements to the port tuning system, originally developed for the Dragon Legacy, further optimize the interaction between drivers, cabinet, and airflow. The result is deeper, more controlled bass with enhanced articulation, achieving greater authority without sacrificing speed, timing, or musical nuance.
Externally, the Sinfonia 1.1 and El Diablo 1.1 receive updated leather finishes, a new badge design, and redesigned footer treatments, giving both models a more modern and sophisticated aesthetic aligned with Peak Consult’s newest generation.

Engineered as a Complete System
Peak develops its drivers, cabinets, crossovers, and mechanical structures together as a complete system. Advanced simulation and measurement are complemented by more than 2,000 hours of listening to individual components—a meticulous process focused on how every engineering choice contributes to a natural, coherent, and emotionally convincing musical experience.
Handcrafted in Denmark
The Sinfonia 1.1 is a full three-way floorstanding loudspeaker featuring a custom 8-inch bass driver, proprietary midrange, and soft-dome tweeter. Skilled craftsmen devote more than 80 hours to each pair of cabinets. Heavy, multilayer construction and carefully engineered damping reduce unwanted cabinet vibration, allowing instrumental tone, fine detail, and ambient information to emerge with less coloration.
The El Diablo 1.1 combines a three-way design with twin bass drivers for greater low-frequency authority and scale. Its heavily damped cabinet and integrated driver system preserve Peak Consult’s natural balance while delivering the weight and dynamics of larger musical performances.
Both models employ PLIC (Peak Linear Impedance Control), which limits impedance variations across the frequency range to provide a more consistent, amplifier-friendly load. This helps the partnering amplifier perform at its best, supporting the loudspeakers’ natural balance and dynamic expression.
